Sailor Venus is the first Sailor, (she was found by Artemis much earlier than Luna found Sailor Moon )and fought as Usagi's hero Sailor V before joining the other Senshi as Sailor Venus. Minako is cheerful and energetic, forgetful and impatient, boy-crazy and sometimes a real ditz. Sound like anyone? Minako and Usagi are very similar in looks as well as attitude (well, except for the energetic part...), so it's not terribly suprising that at first the Senshi and the cats thought that Sailor Venus was the Moon Princess. When it was revealed that Usagi instead was the Moon Princess, it was also revealed that Sailor Venus is the leader of the inner Senshi, though this is brought out more in the manga than the anime.

Past

In her distant past, Sailor Venus was the princess of Venus. She was also in Princess Serenity's court and one of her protectors. She was killed, along long with the rest of the scouts fighting the Negaverse. In her not so distant past before she met the scouts Sailor Venus was fighting evil in London as Sailor V. They even had a video game about her. I haven't been able to find anything but that on Sailor Venus's Past.

Future

Sailor Venus along with the other Sailor Scouts help Neo Queen Serenity and protect the royal family. When you see the future in Sailor Moon R you see that she is helping to protecting Neo Queen Serenity and Crystal Tokyo after the Negamoon family attacked them. There is probably more, this is just all I know. If you would like to teach me I would be willing to learn.
