Chibi-Usa first appears in Sailor Moon R. Originally from the 30th century, she is sent back in time by Sailor Pluto to retrieve the Silver Crystal. It is later revealed that Chibi-Usa is the daughter of Neo-Queen Serenity and King Endymion, the future selves of Sailor Moon & Tuxedo Mask. She is captured by the Black Moon during Sailor Moon R and is turned into the Black Lady, but is saved by Sailor Moon and returns to her normal self. Chibi-Usa returns to the future at the end of Sailor Moon R, but is sent back to the past in Sailor Moon S to train as a sailor senshi. Chibi-Usa has this ability to really annoy Usagi but you can tell at one point she really respects and cares about Usagi (and not after they learn who she is). |
